Tesia + Brandon's Boho Summer Wedding at Northern Haus in Door County
Are you ready for the dreamiest, summer wedding at one of our favorite venues? Us, too!
Let’s start from Tesia & Brandon’s beginning with their first date. Brandon drove 2.5 hrs to visit Tesia who lived in Madison at the time. They did one of their favorite things together and went out to eat tasty food, drink delicious cocktails at one of their now-favorite bars, and ate Ian’s pizza at 2am. The next day Tesia taught Brandon how to paddle board which was a very comical experience.
Fast forward through all of the date nights, amazing restaurants, and visits to Door County to when Brandon proposed to Tesia. Brandon and Tesia went hiking in Colorado with some family members and when they got to the top of the hike. Tesia freaked out and jumped around with excitement over how INCREDIBLE the view was, then Brandon started acting a little and Tesia knew something was up. Minutes later they WERE ENGAGED and Tesia was yelling and screaming and laughing for hours. The experience was such a happy milestone in their relationship that neither of them will ever forget.
On the day of their wedding, Tesia was a ball of laughter and joy. Her mother and her shared a very touching and intimate moment when they were holding their grandma’s rosery. Her grandma had passed away before being able to attend the wedding given the wedding date had to be pushed due to COVID. They release balloons in their ceremony in rememberance of their lost loved ones. Her veil had the most beautiful sentiment to remember her grandma. Brandon cried when he saw Tesia come down the aisle while Tesia’s dad was all smiles (AWE). The weather could not have been more perfect for Tesia & Brandon’s day. The sunset at Northern Haus was stunning, as it frequently is.
Tesia & Brandon took dance lessons before their wedding and looked ah-mazing on the dance floor after an epic dress change. Their relationship is one full of sarcasm and they are always laughing. They tease each other daily, which is secret to all of the laughter.
It is clear that Tesia & Brandon are truly best friends, their wedding was a testament to that. They value making time for each other, growing their relationship, and doing new things together. We could not be more happy for Tesia and Brandon, and being on this adventure with them.
