Listen, we know that wedding planning isn’t always sunshine and daisies. When you first get engaged, you’re over-the-moon excited, and then sometimes the anxiety sets in. The pressure of choosing a venue and date can be overwhelming. Lucky for you, we here at KLEM Studios have a LOT of experience in the wedding industry (over 15 years of experience!) and are extremely familiar with the wedding venues in Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin. We wanted to create a resource for all the newly engaged couples searching for that perfect wedding venue right here in Green Bay. We have personally been to all of these venues and photographed events at all of them. Browse the list below and see which one is your favorite. What we love about Black Sheep Weddings and Events:
This venue is perfect for the couple looking to host their ceremony and reception all at one place, and you can also reserve Black Sheep solely for your reception. Their outdoor ceremony space is lovely, and the grounds offer numerous photo ops. The inside of the venue is clean and bright while providing a great canvas for creating the wedding of your dreams. We love that there are two bars inside, one with a slide-out window for serving guests on the patio. The garage doors allow in so much beautiful natural light, and they bring the outside in on those gorgeous summer nights. So much is included with your venue rental, it can be a relief to couples who aren’t looking to source items from multiple vendors.
The staff is absolutely incredible, and they strive to make your every want happen and anticipate all of your needs. We cannot recommend this team enough, it’s a joy to work with them.
Bonus – well-behaved dogs are allowed outside for your couples’ photos or starring in your wedding ceremony!
What we love about The Barrel Haus at Badger State Brewing:
For beer lovers and those who adore an industrial-chic vibe, Badger State Brewing Company is the place to be. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, with a rustic-industrial reception hall featuring exposed brick, string lights, and of course, amazing craft beer selections. The outside garden is expansive, large enough even for tented affairs, and manicured to host lovely outdoor ceremonies. The inside has decor choices that hint at its brewery roots while remaining classy. It’s the perfect spot for those craft beer lovers, or Packers fans, as Badger State is right down the road from the legendary Lambeau Field.
The staff is wonderful; it’s clear that their goal is to ensure every couple has as stress-free of a wedding as possible.
Your sweet pups are allowed here as well for your couples’ photos or walking down the aisle at your outdoor ceremony!
What we love about Green Bay Botanical Gardens:
Dreaming of a garden wedding? The Green Bay Botanical Gardens provides a breathtaking natural backdrop with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, creating a magical setting for your “I do’s.” Nestled in the heart of Green Bay, this enchanting location offers a variety of stunning settings to make your special day truly unforgettable. It’s a photographer’s dream, and many of our couples have raved about their wedding experience at the Botanical Gardens.
The Garden boasts several picturesque outdoor ceremony sites, including the ever-popular Kress Oval Garden with its white arbors and Grecian gazebo, the Johnson Woodland Garden (one of our favorites) with native shrubs and perennials, and the Matthew Schmidt Wall Garden with magnolias and wildflowers. For your reception, the Cornerstone Foundation Hall offers an elegant indoor space featuring high ceilings with exposed wood beams, large windows overlooking the Garden, and a richly colored floor. This versatile hall can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Couples can choose from two stunning ceremony settings:
Indoor Fireplace Setting: Exchange vows in front of a cozy fireplace within the large LedgeCrest room, adorned with five oversized crystal chandeliers that add a touch of glamour to your special moment.
Outdoor Paved Patio: Say "I do" on the elegant paved patio, featuring a charming outdoor fireplace and surrounded by the natural beauty of the reserve, providing a serene backdrop for your ceremony.
The LedgeCrest Reserve's grand reception area offers a spacious yet intimate ambiance, accommodating up to 400 guests. Established in 2019, the dedicated staff, with over 20 years of combined wedding experience, is committed to providing impeccable service, ensuring that every detail of your special day is executed flawlessly.
What we love about Olde 41:
Rustic charm meets modern elegance at Olde 41. The venue features a beautiful outdoor ceremony space surrounded by nature, while the indoor reception area boasts exposed wood beams, warm lighting, and a spacious dance floor for celebrating all night long. Located on the second floor of the Vandervest Harley-Davidson Dealership, this beautifully rustic space features wood-beamed ceilings, a cozy double-sided stone fireplace, and an outdoor patio overlooking the ceremony site and Duck Creek.
We’ve only photographed wedding receptions in their Premier Banquet Facility, but should note that there is a second venue on-site, The Duck Blind, that offers a wrap-around porch with creek views and a unique antique fireplace. The outdoor ceremony site features a one-of-a-kind rustic arch, with space for up to 150 guests seated on white chairs, all while overlooking the serene Duck Creek.
There are a number of lovely spots on-site to take wedding photos with your family, wedding party, and new spouse, and Olde 41’s convenient location next to the highway means you have access to lots of stellar off-site photo locations.
We absolutely adore the team at Olde 41. Marni and the rest of her expertly trained team bring passion and magic to every wedding and event. She’s been with Olde 41 for years and is incredibly skilled and competent, you’re in great hands when working with Olde 41 for your wedding.
What we love about Oneida Golf and Country Club:
Founded in 1899, Oneida Golf and Country Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Green Bay. This classic and elegant venue is a favorite for couples looking for a touch of luxury. Nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting, this venue features stunning ceremony and reception spaces that will make your big day extraordinary.

We love getting to stroll the grounds with our couples for some sweet just-married photos. While Fall at Oneida Golf and Country Club is our absolute favorite (you can see why in the photo above), it’s breathtaking in every season.

The Terrace at Marina Circle boasts a versatile 2,000-square-foot event space designed to accommodate both ceremonies and receptions.
