Maggie + Billy's Summer Engagement Session at Cave Point in Door County, Wisconsin

Maggie and Bill had such a sweet and fun engagement session, good for the summer soul. As we were planning their engagement session, Maggie & Billy knew they wanted a session with good weather and amazing views, and Door County was an obvious answer.

Maggie & Billy met when Billy was in town for the summer at a bar. Billy is a baseball coach, and when they are not in Green Bay for the summers, they are snowbirds and head to Georgia for the winters. Spending their engagement session on the shore of Lake Michigan was the perfect summer evening for these two.

On the day of their engagement session, Maggie got her hair and make up done by the amazing Claudia with Glo Beauty. She went with a glam face with her signature cat eye look, and beautiful beachy, wavy curls. We met at Cave Point, and that’s where we started at their engagement session. While at Cave Point, we explored all of the amazing cliffs and rocks against the water, and ventured through the woods. Then we met up with Maggie and Bills for baby Casey. Casey is their adored yellow lab dog and she is just the sweetest little girl you’ve ever met. We took a few pictures with Casey at Cave Point, got some of the zoomies out, and let her dance with mom and dad on the rocks before heading to the beach at Whitefish Dunes.

When we went to Whitefish Dunes, Maggie and Bill changed into their formal outfits in the park bathrooms, which is always an adventure. Then we made our way down the wooded path with Casey to the beach. It was a lovely day at the beach, and a beautiful summer evening to spend time with a loved one. Casey was a little jealous that she wasn’t in all of the pictures on the beach, but she was a witness to her mom and dad’s sweet, sweet love.

We did lots of walking, dancing, and playing in the water (filled with so many kisses). Once we felt complete, we took a hike back to the vehicles, said our goodbyes, and Maggie and Bill spent some time in the area getting dinner and enjoying the night after their engagement session. I so look forward to continuing on this journey with Maggie and Bill, and feeling the beautiful love they share for one another at their wedding.

With love,
Kimmy
