Some love stories are meant for adventure, and Lauren and Jeff’s journey from an intimate elopement in Grand Teton National Park to a lively winter wedding reception at Poplar Hall in Appleton, WI, was nothing short of magical. From the moment Lauren proposed to Jeff around Valentine’s Day, suggesting the idea of eloping in the mountains, it was clear that their wedding would be as unique as their love story. This particular adventure is near and dear to our hearts because, at the time, Lauren worked for the KLEMpire! We were giddy to see one of our own get engaged and be able to curate an incredible wedding adventure for Lauren and Jeff that aligned with their dreams and desires.
An Intimate Mountain Adventure in Grand Teton
With the help of the KLEM Team, who have photographed multiple elopements in the park, Lauren and Jeff planned a stunning fall ceremony in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. With fewer than 20 guests in attendance, the day was intimate and heartfelt, full of personal touches that reflected their adventurous spirit.
Western-inspired accents added a charming touch to the day, including Lauren’s striking royal blue cowboy boots. One of the most emotional moments came when Lauren had a first look with her stepson—a moment filled with love, excitement, and a few happy tears. Their ceremony, officiated by Lauren’s good friend, took place on the shores of Jackson Lake, where the breathtaking mountain views created the perfect backdrop. The heartfelt vows, the crisp autumn air, and the warmth of their love made it a ceremony to remember. As the couple sealed their vows with a triumphant kiss, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
After the ceremony, Lauren and Jeff took time to soak in their newlywed bliss, adventuring through the park for some stunning couples’ portraits. With the golden hues of fall surrounding them and the setting sun casting a dreamy glow, it was a moment of pure magic.
A Cozy Celebration in Victor, ID
Following their ceremony, Lauren and Jeff continued the festivities at a private residence in Victor, ID. This intimate gathering was filled with love, laughter, and some unexpected wildlife—yes, a moose even made a guest appearance! Guests enjoyed delicious BBQ from Big Hole BBQ, toasting to the happy couple while nestled in the coziness of the mountain town.
A Winter Wedding Reception at Poplar Hall in Appleton, WI
While their elopement was a dream, Lauren and Jeff knew they wanted to celebrate with all their friends and family back home. A few months later, they hosted a winter wedding reception at Poplar Hall in Appleton, WI—a night filled with joy, laughter, and endless dancing.
The celebration was nothing short of spectacular, with a wildly fun crew of bridesmaids, groomsmen, and loved ones ready to party. The winter ambiance added a magical touch, and Lauren and Jeff were overjoyed to share their love story with everyone who couldn’t be there for their elopement. The dance floor stayed packed all night long as the couple and their guests celebrated their love in true, unforgettable fashion.
