Do you have a “tribe”? A group of friends that just get you and are there to support you through the good times and bad? The ones that have got your back, are up for adventure, and love you for who you are–those people are solid gold. Having won my wedding package giveaway last year, Kristin and Shawn knew they wanted fall engagement photos, so we waited until October of this year to start their session in Ripon. These two love wine, so the gorgeous Vines & Rushes Winery was the perfect place to start before venturing to a waterfront park on Green Lake. Kristin and Shawn are both Supernatural TV show fans (as am I!), and are connected with someone who has an old, vintage impala just like Dean’s car, “Baby,” from the show! Although the car had different interior and exterior colors from the show, Kristin and Shawn had a lot of fun taking pictures with the gorgeous car.

Erin was totally calm and relaxed as she got her hair and make up done at our studio before her engagement session. She joked about how she had gone shopping for new outfits and tried to get her fiancé, Dave, to try a new look. She said they compromised and went with his signature blues and grays look. :-) Erin and Dave had just gotten the keys to their new house the week before their engagement session, and Erin shared how their home makeover projects have been going so far, while Claudia styled Erin to the nine’s. Erin is a hairstylist herself, so she placed a lot of trust in Claudia’s hands!

Krystina knew Dustin was "the one" during her freshman year of college. Dustin was coming home from leave, and she remembers how excited she was to see him, a different excitement than she had felt before. Fast forward to this January when Dustin and Krystina went away for a weekend skiing in Houghton, Michigan. Krystina couldn't understand why Dustin was kneeling in a snowbank on the deck of the restaurant where they had just shared a romantic dinner together. Dustin asked Krystina to be his forever, and she happily said yes.
