Hold Your Tribe Tight | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Do you have a “tribe”? A group of friends that just get you and are there to support you through the good times and bad? The ones that have got your back, are up for adventure, and love you for who you are–those people are solid gold. Having a tribe like this has been so incredible/crucial/life-changing/insert-other-awesome-adjective-here and I am SO thankful for these friends.

There’s something to be said for having a community of like-minded souls whose fundamental values match your own. These people will support you, and I’m talking support like you’ve never known before. No dream is too crazy to share with these folks, and they’ll probably even help you make it happen one way or another! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Andy more than anything and he’s my best friend, but it’s important to have a community beyond just our significant other. For one, I would drive Andy BONKERS if I shared every little thing that I share with my tribe. I also know the strengths of my tribe, and a lot of them center around business, entrepreneurship, goal setting, and limiting beliefs (besides just being awesome friends).

I also think there’s importance in having a diverse tribe. Sure, there will be commonalities that tie your group together, and it’s probably what brought you together in the first place. For example, I met a lot of my core tribe through my business and life coach, but we all have different careers. One is an event planner and coach, another is a website designer and brand expert, one is a fitness coach, there’s also a doula, and the list goes on. These ladies light up my life, and I am so thankful for each and every one of them.

So who’s in your ride-or-die crew? My invitation for you this month is to reach out to them and let them know that you think they’re awesome and you’re so grateful to have them around. Having community is so important, and everyone likes to know they’re appreciated!

Joyfully yours,

Kate
