Cherie + Kyle’s In-Home Engagement Session

There are some people in this world that are just meant to be together for the rest of their lives. Cherie always refills the k-cup drawer with coffee for Kyle every morning before she leaves for work, and Kyle always takes Cherie’s glasses off and plugs in her phone when she falls asleep on the couch. Kyle proposed to Cherie outside Chives (right by the studio!) before what Cherie thought was going to be an anniversary celebratory dinner. As it turned out, Cherie and Kyle got to celebrate not only their anniversary, but their engagement as well (she said yes!).

Cherie and Kyle’s engagement session started with hair and makeup prep at the studio. Claudias Make up Artistry did an amazing job enhancing Cherie’s natural features, and highlighting her eyes with false lashes, making her beautiful blue eyes pop in the photos. Cherie incorporated fall colors into her wardrobe, and even had her nails done in a neutral pink color for the occasion.

We headed over to Cherie and Kyle’s house, where there was another little surprise. Chives had heard that Cherie was getting her hair and makeup done before the session, and asked Kate to bring over an extra surprise for their celebration after the session. Chives brought over two tickets to watch the preseason Packer game that night! Not only were Cherie and Kyle going to celebrate their engagement, but also watch the Packers win against the Chiefs, 27-20!

Cherie and Kyle live a beautiful life together in a gorgeous house surrounded by woods in the Suamico area. They have a very furry household and so much love for their two dogs and four cats who love exploring the small creek by their house. Their home is a special place, so Cherie and Kyle knew they wanted to have their engagement session there.

Snuggled up and laughing throughout their entire session, Cherie and Kyle took some time to reflect on their relationship, how they got here, what they’re most looking forward to, as well as to look forward to their spring wedding at Gather on Broadway. They had so much fun documenting this step in their relationship, and can’t wait for their wedding day!
