Becca + Jacob's Sweet Summertime Engagement Session in Green Bay, WI
Becca and Jacob are an incredibly sweet couple who came to us to capture their engagement session photos in the summer before their fall wedding. Becca is originally from the Green Bay Area and knows how many amazing locations there are to choose from when it comes to photo session spots. We co-created an outdoorsy, fun, laid back engagement session at UWGB and downtown on the CityDeck on the Fox River.
One of the things that makes UWGB (University of Wisconsin-Green Bay) great for an engagement session is the number of backdrops that are available. The arboretum has woodsy vibes, and some open prairie fields, as well as creek that runs into the bay. One of the trails brings you to the waterfront, eventually ending up along the shore near Lambeau Cottage. This spot is really great for sunset photos because of its location on the east side of Green Bay, giving you beautiful sunset lighting. One important thing to note is that UWGB is not a dog-friendly spot, so you'll have to leave Fido at home!
Becca and Jacob blissfully wandered the trails at UW GB with me sharing about their relationship and their plans for their wedding. With the pandemic, they weren’t sure if their intimate wedding plans were going to come together, but they didn’t seem stressed. They knew they had plenty of time ahead of them. Their very sweet, loving bond will very clearly serve them well for the years to come.
After roaming around the UWGB campus, we headed to the CityDeck in downtown Green Bay to wrap up Becca and Jacob’s engagement session. They enjoy getting dressed up and wanted a nice juxtaposition to the casual nature-vibes they had gotten on the campus. As you can tell, these two are really jazzed about getting to spend the rest of their lives together – I know it will be really rewarding for them just by the way they make each other laugh.
