Kirsten + Kevin's Colorful Fall Wedding at Stadium View

KLEM Studios was thrilled to photograph Kirsten and Kevin’s wedding at Stadium View in Green Bay. We knew there was bound to be laughter, love, and big smiles if their wedding was anything like their magical winter engagement session. However, the temperature at their wedding was going to be a lot warmer than the chilly weather during the engagement session! Kevin was the happiest man and everyone knew he was right where he needed to be: marrying the person he wants to spend every moment of his life with.

Kirsten and Kevin met in pharmacy school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison taking classes together and watching a movie (Kevin’s famous popcorn included!) to become officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Their love and support for each other has only grown since college, and brightened their ceremony with joy and lots of laughter. Kirsten loves how Kevin’s personality can light up a room, and he did just that with Kirsten’s down to earth energy to make it complete.

Everyone who attended the wedding celebrations were incredibly supportive, happy, and ready to party! As Kirsten and the bridesmaids got ready, Kevin and his groomsmen played basketball before lining up and making sure everyone had their fun Mario socks on. Kirsten’s hair and makeup perfectly accentuated her beauty and her lacey v-neck Allure gown from The Bridal Event was stunning.

After relaxing and prepping for the day, Kirsten surprised her dad with a first look before sharing a first look with Kevin. Then we whisked the wedding party down the aisle at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. Family and friends came to share and celebrate Kirsten and Kevin’s union and love for each other. As Kirsten walked down the aisle under the beautiful high vaulted ceilings of the church, Kevin locked eyes with her and both smiled huge smiles.

After Kirsten and Kevin said, “I do,” pictures were taken in the church, taking advantage of the natural light and beautiful architecture. Family photos were taken outside; the trees bursting with picturesque autumn colors. Their classic ceremony was the perfect opportunity for light and airy photos—a timeless collection Kirsten and Kevin can look back on for years to come.

While supportive guests made their way to Stadium View in Green Bay for cocktail hour and the reception, the wedding party hopped into the party bus for candid photos and posed pictures in Green Bay. Everyone toasted Kirsten and Kevin out of matching, custom tumblers before laughing and acting goofy for bridal photos. The groomsmen were dashing in their tuxes and fun socks, the bridesmaids were beautiful, carrying lovely banquettes from Bee Wed Floral Design Studio

Couples portraits were the perfect moment for Kirsten and Kevin to sneak away, reflect on Kevin’s proposal outside Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. Walking on St. Norbert’s College campus, and snuggling close for pictures, it was also a moment the two could savor the first moments of marriage. Kirsten was so excited to capture all the emotions of the day. These photos will be perfect for their wedding album, wall art, and custom thank you cards.

After giggly wedding photos and intimate couples portraits, the bus drove to the reception, where everyone in attendance was excited to share a few drinks, laughter, and dancing all night long! Shortly after dinner, Kirsten and Kevin snuck away for romantic sunset photos in front of the Green Bay Packer Stadium. It is clear their love is unconditional and that they care deeply for each other while not afraid to be goofy.

Back at the reception, Kirsten and Kevin shared parent dances before serenading one another in their own first dance, singing as if it was karaoke night, belting out their song at the top of their lungs! Then family and friends joined to show off their dance moves while the team from Bekx Fx rocked the music.

Guests partied all night long, indulging in desserts from Monzù Bakery and carrying around personal hand sanitizer that said, “Spread LOVE not germs.” The entire day was fun and full of smiles despite everything Kirsten and Kevin had altered due to COVID – 19. It was so much fun to see all of their hard work come together with love, joy, and so much energy. Kevin’s smile was contagious, and Kirsten’s excitement could be felt from across the room.

Kirsten and Kevin are the perfect example of truly finding the one you are meant to be with and exuding that love and energy to everyone around. A relationship like that is inspiring and heartwarming. It’s clear, Kirsten and Kevin, your resilience and support for each other in times of stress and hardship is stronger than any pandemic! We hope you can honeymoon in Ireland soon. Thank you for sharing your special day with us, and cheers to a bright future!

Much love,

Kate (and Krista!)
