Styled Shoot: Colorful + Boho-Inspired Wedding at Black Sheep Wedding and Events in Green Bay

The wedding scene in Green Bay really is blossoming with a number of new venues popping up and other wedding vendors introducing themselves into the scene. It's always such an honor and a pleasure to be able to work with new people and new venues to collaborate on a styled shoot that will show future couples what it could be like to work with them. I was extremely excited to be asked to photograph The Black Sheep Wedding and Events’ first styled shoot.

Rachel of Pink Door Events was the amazing coordinator of the event who collaborated heavily with Jen of The Black Sheep on the vision for the shoot. They brought together a team of amazing vendors and models that really brought the space to life. Ivory Rose Bridal Boutique in Appleton provided a stunning, unique dress with floral beaded features that seemed to be lit from within. Our models were such troopers and had great chemistry. We were so grateful to be able to work with them and that they were willing to play along with our ideas. Our groom model looked exceedingly dapper in his suit from Dubois Formalwear. Dubois is one of my favorite suit and tux vendors – in fact, they're on our preferred vendor list because their customer service is so exceptional and the pieces always look amazing.

Nature's Best Floral went above and beyond with all the floral pieces. Josh and his team are true artists. Ruby Design provided amazing rental and decor details, as did Pink Door Events. When crafting your wedding vision, the details truly make everything come together. A great rental company will be able to talk through your vision with you and make sure all of the pieces make sense.

We also got to show off some of The Black Sheep's custom wedding cocktails. Of course, we were able to sample them, so I can tell you firsthand that they're absolutely delicious. The space has two full bars, so you and your guests will never be thirsty as you party the night away.

The Black Sheep provides a modern, blank canvas for your wedding or event. The space is beautifully designed to be elegant urban chic with the fireplace and the chandelier as the captivating main backdrop. There’s also a landscaped outdoor space that can be used for ceremonies and cocktail hours – I’m a huge fan of venues that allow you to have both your ceremony and reception on-site. One of the things I personally love about The Black Sheep is that they have getting ready spaces for both partners and their attendants. This space is incredible, and you’ll love working with their wedding team. We're so grateful to be one of The Black Sheep’s preferred photography vendors, and we're really thrilled to be able to recommend them to our couples as well.
