Green Bay Botanical Gardens: Heidi + Frank Say I Do!
On an exceptionally warm July summer day, Heidi and Frank’s closest family and friends gathered at the Green Bay Botanical Garden to witness them say I do. An intimate group consisting of Heidi’s mom and sister excitedly helped Heidi into her beautifully beaded, warm grey gown with lace detailing. Frank looked exceptionally dapper in his dark suit as he waited outside the Kaftan Lusthaus Gazebo in the gardens. The small, Scandinavian themed house was filled with joyful guests drawn together amongst the flowers from Schroeder's Flowers which provided touches of pinks and reds, and saturated the air with a wonderfully sweet aroma.
The intimate wedding consisted of about sixty close friends, and dear members of the family. Heidi’s brother walked her down the aisle of smiling faces and gorgeous flowers swaying on a summer breeze coming through the windows. Frank couldn’t take his eyes off of Heidi. Surrounded by supportive witnesses, Heidi and Frank were pronounced husband and wife!
After the ceremony, it was incredibly important for Heidi and Frank to take photos with their friends and family who had been able to celebrate this special ceremony. Frank’s mom flew in all the way from Texas, and the pictures with the family documented the love shared between two families coming together as one.
Taking the opportunity to explore the gardens, family and friends dispersed amongst the sun swept floral grounds. Heidi and Frank strolled through the gardens by themselves, savoring their first moments as husband and wife. The Butterfly Exhibit presented that same day in the gardens was a very special event for Heidi. Butterflies had a significant meaning to Heidi and her late dad, who always took time to go into the exhibit with his daughter to chase butterflies and catch the colorful winged creatures in huge nets. Heidi was able to think of her dad, and know that he was there with her on this magical day of her life.
Welcomed into Hotel Northland’s elegant second floor meeting space with a gorgeous mezzanine, Heidi and Frank once again gathered with their closest friends and family to enjoy a delicious and intimate dinner after a cocktail hour with a wonderful spread of cheese from Frank’s local cheese company. Their best man and maid of honor spoke of how wonderful Heidi and Frank are together, and how thankful they are that they found each other at this point in their lives. They mentioned that their wonderful connection and relationship allows them to experience true happiness.
Heidi and Frank have a visibly steady and loving relationship. They are wonderful compliments to one another, and it’s easy to see that they’re truly each other’s life partners. Heidi and Frank, we wish you a lifetime of happiness, love, and friendship. Thank you for choosing us to be apart of your intimate and personal wedding day.
Much love and appreciation,
Kate
