Iris + Floyd’s Magical Harry Potter Wedding in Green Bay, Wisconsin

It was a truly magical day when Iris and Floyd got married at Sepia Chapel on a crisp November afternoon. They took the phrase “magic is in the air” and brought it to a whole new level. You see, when Iris and Floyd began dreaming up their perfect wedding day, they knew that it had to be an elegant Harry Potter-themed event. And boy, did they knock it out of the park!

A Harry Potter Wedding at Sepia Chapel: Iris + Floyd Say I Do

I'm a bit of a Potterhead myself, so I was blown away by all the detail and thought that these two put into their fall wedding plans. The bridesmaids had robes and dresses featuring the different house colors at Hogwarts, and they even had wands to brandish as they were getting ready. Iris and Floyd had their own Head Boy and Head Girl pins, and Iris even had a small vial of Felix Flexis to bring her luck on her wedding day. When the guests entered Sepia Chapel, the first thing they saw was Iris and Floyd's version of “Famous Witches and Wizards”. Iris's dad passed away before he had the chance to walk her down the aisle, so his photo was prominently displayed at the front of those being remembered. Rather than doing a garter toss or bouquet toss, Iris made wind keys for the single ladies to use to release Hedwig from her locked cage (don't worry, no owls were harmed on this wedding day!), And Floyd tossed a quaffle into the crowd of bachelors.

Iris and Floyd did manage to take some time for just the two of them to quietly celebrate as newlyweds. They strolled through Baird's Creek, tiptoed along the creek bed, and snuggled close to keep each other warm. Iris had mentioned how important it was to her to have amazing photos that authentically documented their wedding day to look upon for decades to come. So many beautiful memories are created on a wedding day, and it's a huge milestone in a couple's relationship that deserves to be celebrated. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Iris and Floyd party the night away as husband and wife. They have a lifetime of love and adventure ahead of them, and it was such an honor to be a part of this magical day. Cheers to you, Iris and Floyd!
