This past summer, I was inspired by a local photographer that I admire to do more with my business. "More" came in the form of donating a portion of KLEM Studios' profits each month to a National Park and local cause of my choice. I was blown away by how many clients donated extra beyond the 5% KLEM Studios was already donating. Between July-December of 2016, we donated to The Golden House, Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary, Freedom House, the Einstein Project, Paul's Pantry, Rawhide, Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Glacier National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, and Grand Teton National Park. Each month, the donation totals varied, but I am so thrilled to report that in the second half of 2016, we donated almost $320 to the above causes!

For 2017, my goal is to donate $1,000 to different causes. Some of the charities on deck are Exceptional Equestrians, the Wildlife Sanctuary, Guitars for Vets, Grand Canyon National Park, and Denali National Park, just to name a few. Thank you to all of you that have made an impact through your donations. Every little bit counts towards making our world a better place. I'm so lucky to be fighting the good fight with you.

Cheers,
Kate
