Kaylynn + Shane’s Wisconsin Winter Engagement Session

On a misty and bitterly cold winter’s day, Kaylynn and Shane stepped onto the freshly fallen snow at the Brown County Reforestation Camp for their engagement session with KLEM Studios’ associate photographer, Krista. Ever the fashionable couple, Kaylynn brought a number of outfits to the session. However, the centerpiece was the stunning red gown Kaylynn bought because she was so inspired by Witney Carson’s winter engagement session.

Kaylynn and Shane knew that for their engagement session, they wanted to embrace Wisconsin’s winter beauty and wander hand-in-hand among tall pine trees (and some fresh snow wouldn’t hurt!). The Reforestation Camp was the location I recommended to them, and it turned out to be exactly what Kaylynn and Shane were looking for. The day of their session, the snow twinkled softly under the overcast, misty winter skies. Kaylynn and Shane love to travel together, especially to warm places, so I’m sure they were imagining their destination beach wedding taking place next year would be a stark contrast to their winter engagement session!

It’s clear that Kaylynn and Shane are their most comfortable, authentic selves around one another. Petite Kaylynn easily snuggled up in Shane’s welcoming arms. While looking through their images, it was obvious to me that Kaylynn feels very at home in Shane’s arms. He cares for her immensely as well, even bringing a heated jacket for Kaylynn to warm up in between shots! They giggled together, held each other close, and stole a few kisses here and there.  Kaylynn and Shane, we can’t wait for your destination wedding day, and we are absolutely honored to be a part of your festivities!

Much love and appreciation,

Kate (and Krista!)
