Green Bay Wedding Photography: Sam and Kaitlee's Outdoor Wedding
As a wedding photographer, I am blessed to work with incredible, in-love couples on a regular basis. But then there are some couples that reach down deep inside you and latch on, taking a special place in your heart because of the epic love they show each other. Sam and Kaitlee are two of these people. Their wedding day was an awesomely emotional one. There were so many moments that resonated with me and brought tears to my eyes. Some of their images give me goosebumps because it shows how raw, natural, and once-in-a-lifetime their love is. These two are such a treasure to be around and are a reminder of what true love is.
Sam and Kaitlee planned an outdoor wedding ceremony at Green Isle Park, only a few hundred feet from the place that Sam got down on one knee and asked Kaitlee to be his wife. The weather couldn't have been more perfect; the sun shone through the trees and the sky seemed to have saved a special shade of blue for this day. Warm, enveloping sunlight fell around Sam and Kaitlee as they walked along the boardwalk, relishing in their new titles of husband and wife. We passed a couple in their seventies walking hand-in-hand while their pup, Rusty, trotted ahead. Sam watched them as they passed and asked me to take a photo because, in his words, "You don't see that too often". Sam and Kaitlee, I have no doubt that you will embody everything that couple displayed, and more.
Sam and Kaitlee capped their glorious wedding day with an intimate reception at the KI Convention Center. Elite Entertainment kept the dancefloor packed with Otis Day as the master of ceremonies. The music rang deep into the night as guests danced the night away, bellies full from one of the best reception meals I've ever had, and a moscow mule fountain (what's not to love??). Sam and Kaitlee, may each new day be your best day ever. I wish you a lifetime of love, friendship, and happiness. I will be forever grateful for being chosen to document your love story. You are an inspiration to me and everyone around you.
Much love and appreciation,
Kate
