So often with this job, I am rewarded with the company of wonderful, amazing, kind-hearted people. I don't know how I got so lucky, but boy am I thankful for it. Sam and Kaitlee are two of these aforementioned people, and I'm pretty smitten with this pair.

On a gorgeous fall day, we celebrated Sam and Kaitlee's engagement by strolling through Baird's Creek and the UWGB arboretum. The colors of the changing leaves popped in the beautiful golden light of the late afternoon. Sam guided Kaitlee across the slippery rocks in Baird's Creek and they snuggled up together in the fields of the UWGB trails.

These two are what I would call "madly in love". They gently tease each other, they're incredibly affectionate, and they make each other laugh and smile in a way that makes the sun and the moon jealous. They enjoy hanging out with friends at the lake, drinking craft beers, and bringing out the best in each other. Sam and Kaitlee, I am so excited for your September wedding next year. I think it is going to be one for the record books.

Much love and appreciation,
Kate
