A Fall Appleton Wedding: Annalisha + Rob Say I Do

Annalisha and Rob know how incredibly important family is. It's the centerstone to everything they've built, and it was the focal point of the wedding day they created. Bringing together their two families (they have SIX children total!) was their goal, and they did just that in such a beautiful manner. They exchanged vows at the Medina Wedding Chapel under a handmade birch arbor. Their unity ceremony brought together not only Annalisha and Rob, but their six children as well, creating a sand artwork piece with different colored sand for each person. Once the sands were poured together, there was no separating them, just like the family structure they’ve created.

After Annalisha and Rob said, “I do!”, the wedding party headed to the newlyweds gorgeous home for a pre-reception celebration. Annalisha and Rob made a quick stop along the way, because Rob had made something special that he wanted to show Annalisha. At their reception hall, the Hortonville Opera House, Rob had built a large log pergola under which they would share their first dance. The surprises didn’t end there!

Once the AMAZING BBQ dinner was served and devoured (thank you, Parker John’s!), and after Annalisha and Rob had swayed in each other’s arms for their first dance, Rob pulled out his guitar and serenaded Annalisha with two songs. Apparently, this is a regular household occurrence for these two, but Annalisha didn’t expect Rob to burst into song in front of their friends and family! It was an incredibly tender, sacred moment.

The love they share is so deep and moving, all those around them are affected by it. Their relationship is an inspiration, and it was such a joy to document. Cheers to you, Annalisha and Rob. I wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, adventure, and endless friendship. Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day.

Much love and appreciation,

Kate
